Best Live Casinos in Japan 2026: Japanese Live Dealers, Baccarat & Game Shows

Updated October 5, 2026 · By the Casino Online Japan editorial team · This page contains affiliate links: we may earn a commission when you sign up through them, which never affects our scores (how we rate).

Our verdict: live casino streams real dealers, real cards and real wheels from a studio, and your bet is settled on that result. When we opened the live lobbies from a Japanese IP address (October 3–5, 2026), we found Japanese-hosted tables, casino-branded tables and tables you can join for $1 or less

Item What we checked
Main games Baccarat, blackjack, roulette, game shows (Crazy Time and more), Sic Bo, poker
Main providers Evolution, Pragmatic Play Live, SA Gaming, Playtech and others
Bet range (example) From $0.01 to $150,000 in CasiTabi’s live lobby (628 tables counted on October 4, 2026)
Japanese tables Japanese Speed Baccarat, Japanese Roulette, Japanese Speed Blackjack and more (Vera&John, CasiTabi, Bons); a “Japanese dealer” category at Mystino
Bonuses Live play usually counts 10–15% towards wagering (Vera&John group 10–15%, CasiTabi 10%)

The best live casino for players in Japan is the one that has Japanese-speaking dealers, low table minimums and a bonus that actually counts on live games. We opened the live lobbies of the casinos Japanese players use from a Japanese IP address (October 3–5, 2026) and wrote down what is really there: which Evolution Japanese tables each site carries, the bet range of every table, the game shows, the providers and how much live play counts towards wagering.

Short answer: Vera&John is our top pick for most players (Japanese Speed Baccarat, its own Vera&John Live Roulette and a big welcome offer through our link), CasiTabi has the deepest lobby we measured (628 tables with bet ranges on show, from $0.01 to $150,000), and Bons carries the widest set of Japanese Evolution tables, including Japanese Speed Blackjack A–H and Japanese Sic Bo.

Best live casinos in Japan: our ranking (October 2026)

We ranked these sites on what matters at a live table: Japanese-speaking tables, the range of stakes, the providers, how much live play counts towards a bonus, paying in yen and the licence. Every fact below comes from the casino’s own lobby or terms, opened from Japan on the date shown. Full details of each brand are in our Japanese reviews.

1. Vera&John

Vera&John logo

Vera&John has been the default choice for Japanese players since 2011, and its live section shows why. When we opened the baccarat lobby on October 5, 2026, Japanese Speed Baccarat 1 sat in the first slot with 116 players at the table, followed by Japanese Speed Baccarat B and C, Pragmatic Play Speed Baccarat (650 players), Mega Baccarat, Amazing Baccarat and Baccarat After Dark. The “Exclusive live tables” row opens with Vera&John Live Roulette (286 players at the time) and the Signature Blackjack tables, which you only find in this group’s casinos.

The lobby is split into useful rows rather than one endless grid: low-stake blackjack for small budgets, high-limit blackjack for big ones, and a “Lightning & multipliers” row for players who like boosted payouts. The whole site works in English as well as Japanese, and you can hold your balance in yen.

2. CasiTabi (Kajitabi)

CasiTabi (Kajitabi in Japanese) is the lobby we would show anyone who wants to compare tables before sitting down. Every one of its 628 live tables shows its bet range on the tile (“0.1 – 5000”, for example), and a slider lets you filter by stake. That is how we could count that 327 tables start at $1 or less and 242 go up to $10,000 or more.

It also carries the full Evolution Japanese set plus its own branded tables, such as CasiTabi Speed Baccarat Queen. The site has an RPG theme with treasure chests, charges no deposit or withdrawal fees and accepts 15 cryptocurrencies alongside cards and e-wallets. It is in Japanese only, so it suits readers who are comfortable with a Japanese interface.

Tables with bet ranges 628 (we counted them on October 4, 2026)
Japanese tables Japanese Speed Baccarat A–E, Japanese Roulette, Japanese Speed Blackjack A–F, Grand Japanese Speed Blackjack, Japanese Salon Privé Baccarat

3. Bons Casino

Bons Casino logo

If your main reason for playing live is a Japanese-speaking dealer, Bons is hard to beat. On October 4, 2026 its live lobby listed five Japanese Speed Baccarat tables, eight Japanese Speed Blackjack tables, Japanese Lightning Baccarat, Japanese Sic Bo and Japanese Golden Wealth Baccarat, more Japanese tables than any other site we checked. When we went back on October 5, Japanese Speed Baccarat was again among the first tables in the “All” view.

Bons runs casino, live casino and sportsbook from one balance, and its English version is complete. Crypto players get 10% extra on every crypto deposit, rising to 20% on Fridays, and you can buy crypto by card inside the site.

4. Mystino

Mystino logo

Mystino makes Japanese tables easy to find: its live lobby has a “Japanese dealer” category, so you do not have to scroll through hundreds of English tables. It is also one of the few sites here with an SA Gaming section, the Asian studio many baccarat fans prefer, next to the usual Evolution game shows such as Crazy Time.

Your balance is in yen and our link gives you ¥2,000 to start with no deposit. Mystino also pays a cashback every Saturday, which fits live players better than a wagering-heavy deposit bonus.

Japanese tables A dedicated “Japanese dealer” (日本語ディーラー) category
Other categories Game shows (Crazy Time, Money Time), SA Gaming, roulette

5. Yuugado

Yuugado logo

Yuugado is Vera&John’s sister site built for yen. It shares the same live lobby structure, including the exclusive tables, but everything is shown in Japanese yen, which makes it easy to keep track of a session budget at a ¥500-a-hand baccarat table.

It adds a sportsbook and a pachinko hall, and through our link you get ¥1,500 plus a ¥1,500 free bet before you deposit anything.

6. InterCasino

Running since 1996, InterCasino uses the same live platform as Vera&John. Its live casino page is one of the few that explains in plain words which game has a Japanese host: Evolution’s Japanese Roulette. On a phone the lobby switches to a clean vertical list, which is handy if you mostly play on mobile.

Through our link you get 50 no-deposit free spins at $0.20 each, and the account can be held in yen or dollars.

Bitcasino is the crypto pick for live players. Its live lobby mixes Evolution, Pragmatic Play Live and Winfinity tables, and a Live RTP page shows which games are paying above their theoretical return right now; on October 3 the list included XXXtreme Lightning Roulette. Game shows count 20% towards wagering, double the usual live rate.

Japanese live chat runs 24/7, deposits start at 0.25 USDT and withdrawals are approved in about two minutes on average, according to its help centre.

8. Stake

Stake is the biggest crypto casino in the world and keeps live casino, game shows and its sportsbook in one wallet. It is not the place for a Japanese-language lobby, but high-stakes players like its VIP programme with 15 ranks and rakeback, which pays back part of the house edge on every bet regardless of whether you win or lose.

Stake runs on crypto only (20 coins, no minimum deposit according to its blog).

Live categories Live casino, Game shows, Blackjack, Baccarat, Roulette (September 27, 2026)

9. Casino Secret

Casino Secret logo

Casino Secret is built around cashback rather than big bonuses, which suits live players: its CASINOSECRET CLUB tables carry a cashback label, and the instant cashback needs no wagering. Its help centre also has the clearest explanation we found of why a live bet can be rejected (see below).

Through our link you get $15 with no deposit (20x, max cashout $150).

10. Queen Casino

Queen Casino puts its Japanese tables first: Japanese Speed Baccarat A–E, Japanese Roulette, Japanese Lightning Baccarat and ten Japanese Speed Blackjack tables lead the live list. One thing to know before you sign up: the Curaçao Gaming Authority validator, opened from the seal on its site, showed “License status: Revoked” on October 5, 2026, and the CGA register of October 2, 2026 lists the same licence number as “Expired”. The site footer still says “active”.

If you play here, keep your balance low and withdraw winnings regularly.

Japanese live dealer tables: where to find them

Most live tables are hosted in English. If you want a dealer who speaks Japanese, look for Evolution’s tables with “Japanese” in the name, or for the Japanese categories some casinos build. Dealer names on these tables are Japanese too (Sakura, Yui, Daichi, Rina, Kaz and others in CasiTabi’s lobby on October 4, 2026).

Japanese Speed Baccarat

The most popular Japanese table. It is standard punto banco with a faster deal, so a round takes less time than classic baccarat. Evolution runs several copies (lettered A to E at CasiTabi, Bons and Queen Casino on October 4; numbered tables such as Japanese Speed Baccarat 1 at Vera&John and Bons on October 5), so there is almost always a seat. In CasiTabi’s lobby the range was $1–$10,000 on table A and $1–$25,000 on B to E. If you are new to the game, read our quick rules below or the full baccarat rules guide (in Japanese).

Japanese Roulette

A single-zero (European) wheel hosted in Japanese. It had one of the widest ranges we saw, $0.50 to $20,000 at CasiTabi and from €0.50 at Casino.me, which makes it the cheapest way to play with a Japanese dealer. InterCasino describes it on its live page as the game where a Japanese dealer runs the table in Japanese.

Japanese Speed Blackjack

Blackjack hosted in Japanese at a faster pace than classic tables. Expect higher minimums: $20–$10,000 on Japanese Speed Blackjack A to F at CasiTabi and $500–$10,000 on Grand Japanese Speed Blackjack. Bons had the most copies (A–H) and Queen Casino listed A–J.

Casino-branded and other Japanese tables

Some casinos rent their own tables from the studio: CasiTabi has CasiTabi Speed Baccarat Queen and CasiTabi Speed Roulette, Vera&John has Vera&John Live Roulette, and the Vera&John group (Vera&John, InterCasino, Yuugado) has an “Exclusive live tables” row. Bons also lists Japanese Lightning Baccarat, Japanese Sic Bo and Japanese Golden Wealth Baccarat, and Mystino groups its Japanese-hosted games under “Japanese dealer”.

Table limits: how much you need to play live casino

Every live table has a minimum and a maximum stake. To give you real numbers rather than “from $1”, we counted the 628 tables in CasiTabi’s live lobby that display a bet range (October 4, 2026). 94 tables start at $0.10 or less, 327 at $1 or less, and 152 need at least $50 a hand. At the top end, 242 tables accept $10,000 or more per bet, and Privé Lounge Baccarat and Monaco VIP Blackjack 1 go up to $150,000.

Low-stakes tables

Roulette and game shows are the cheapest: 80 of 83 roulette tables and 59 of 60 game-show tables started at $1 or less. Baccarat is close behind (131 of 151 tables at $1 or less). Blackjack is the exception, because each table has only seven seats: the median minimum was $25 and only 24 of 301 blackjack tables let you sit for $1 or less. On a small budget, look for “Infinite” or “Free Bet” blackjack (unlimited seats) or use Bet Behind.

Game Tables Median minimum Min. $1 or less Min. $50+ Highest maximum
Baccarat 151 $1 131 20 $150,000
Blackjack 301 $25 24 130 $150,000
Roulette 83 $0.10 80 2 $100,000
Poker 12 $0.50 12 0 $10,000
Sic Bo / dice 11 $0.20 11 0 $10,000
Dragon Tiger 10 $0.50 10 0 $10,000
Game shows / other 60 $0.10 59 0 $20,000

Our count of the 628 tables with a visible bet range in CasiTabi’s live lobby, opened from Japan on October 4, 2026. Tables with the same name are counted once.

High-limit and VIP tables

High rollers have plenty of choice: Privé Lounge Baccarat ($1,000–$150,000), Salon Privé Baccarat (from $1,000), Blackjack VIP tables (from $50 or $100) and the “High-limit blackjack” row at Vera&John, InterCasino and Yuugado. Check the casino’s withdrawal limits too: the Vera&John group may cap withdrawals at $10,000 a week, so a big live win can take several weeks to cash out in full.

Pick tables that fit your budget

A simple rule that keeps a session going: bet 1–2% of your session budget per hand. At about ¥150 to the dollar, that means:

Session budget Stake per hand (1–2%) Tables you can sit at (CasiTabi)
¥10,000 (~$65) $0.65 – $1.30 327 tables with a minimum of $1 or less
¥30,000 (~$200) $2 – $4 331 tables with a minimum of $2 or less
¥100,000 (~$650) $6.50 – $13 430 tables with a minimum of $10 or less

On a ¥10,000 budget, a $1 baccarat table gives you about 65 hands, while a $20 Japanese Speed Blackjack table gives you three. That is why small budgets usually end up at baccarat, roulette and game shows.

CasiTabi live casino lobby showing bet ranges on each table
CasiTabi’s live lobby shows the bet range (in dollars) on every table (screenshot of the official site, opened from a Japanese IP address on October 4, 2026)

Live game shows: Crazy Time, Monopoly Live, Mega Ball and more

Game shows are TV-style live games with a presenter, a big wheel or a ball machine and bonus rounds. They are easy to play and start at very low stakes, but their house edge is higher than baccarat or blackjack. Evolution gives Crazy Time a theoretical RTP of 94.41% to 96.08% depending on the bet, a house edge of 3.92–5.59%.

Wheel games

Crazy Time, Funky Time, Monopoly Live and Dream Catcher spin a money wheel; you bet on the number or bonus segment you think it will stop on. Bonus segments trigger mini-games with multipliers. In CasiTabi’s lobby most started at $0.10, with maximums of $5,000 (Crazy Time) and $10,000 (Funky Time).

Ball and dice games

Mega Ball ($0.01–$100) is a bingo-style game where drawn balls fill your cards; Lightning Dice ($0.10–$5,000) is a bet on the total of three dice with random multipliers. The rules are simple, but the odds differ a lot from game to game, so read the paytable (“i” button) first.

Live crash games

Live casino providers you will find in Japan

Casinos do not run live tables themselves. Studios such as Evolution film the games and stream them to many casinos at once, which is why one site can offer hundreds of tables. The provider matters: it decides which tables exist, the rules, the side bets and the Japanese-language options.

Evolution

The market leader and the source of almost every Japanese table: Japanese Speed Baccarat, Japanese Roulette, Japanese Speed Blackjack, plus Crazy Time (launched in July 2020), Lightning Roulette and Monopoly Live. Its “Compliance and Licences” page lists licences from the Malta Gaming Authority, the UK Gambling Commission, Gibraltar, the Isle of Man, Sweden, Denmark, Spain, Ontario and more, and it presents NetEnt, Red Tiger, Ezugi, Big Time Gaming and Nolimit City as its brands (checked October 4, 2026).

Pragmatic Play Live

The live arm of the slot maker Pragmatic Play, licensed by the UK Gambling Commission (account 56015) and Gibraltar (RGL No. 107) according to its site. Known for Speed Baccarat (650 players at Vera&John when we looked), Sweet Bonanza CandyLand and Mega Wheel.

Ezugi

Ezugi is one of the brands Evolution lists on its own site, so its tables sit in the same group as the Evolution studios. Check the provider filter in your casino’s lobby to see whether it carries them.

Playtech Live

Playtech runs its own studios with baccarat, blackjack and roulette. Eldoah’s home page promotes three live brands side by side: Evolution Live, Pragmatic Play and Playtech (October 4, 2026).

SA Gaming

An Asian studio best known for baccarat with squeeze options. Mystino has a dedicated SA Gaming category in its live lobby.

Winfinity and Microgaming

Bitcasino carries Winfinity tables alongside Evolution and Pragmatic Play Live, and Bons has a Microgaming filter next to Evolution in its live lobby.

Quick rules, odds and house edge

Live games use the same rules as their computer versions; the difference is that a real dealer deals real cards. Here is what you need to know for the three games Japanese players choose most. Full guides: baccarat, blackjack and roulette (in Japanese).

Live baccarat

You bet on Player, Banker or Tie. Each hand gets two cards; tens and face cards count zero and only the last digit of the total counts (7 + 8 = 15 → 5). A total of 8 or 9 is a “natural” and ends the hand. Otherwise a third card is drawn by fixed rules, so you never make a decision after betting. Banker wins pay 1:1 minus a 5% commission, Player pays 1:1, and Tie usually pays 8:1.

Bet Chance of winning (8 decks) Payout House edge
Banker 45.86% 1:1 minus 5% commission 1.06%
Player 44.62% 1:1 1.24%
Tie 9.52% 8:1 14.36%
Banker total Banker draws a third card when the Player’s third card is…
0, 1, 2 Always draws
3 Anything except 8
4 2 to 7
5 4 to 7
6 6 or 7
7 Stands

Player draws on 0–5 and stands on 6–7. If the Player stands, the Banker draws on 0–5 and stands on 6–7. House edges are our calculation for 8 decks.

Live blackjack

Beat the dealer’s total without going over 21. Cards 2–10 count face value, picture cards 10 and aces 1 or 11. A two-card 21 (blackjack) pays 3:2 and happens about 4.75% of the time with 8 decks. You can hit, stand, double down or split pairs; on live tables you decide within a timer. Played with basic strategy (3:2 payout, dealer stands on soft 17), the house edge is about 0.57% — the lowest of any live game.

Live roulette

Choose numbers or groups of numbers and the dealer spins the ball. Pick single-zero European or French wheels (house edge 2.70%) rather than American double-zero wheels (5.26%). On French tables with La Partage, you get half your even-money bet back when zero lands, which cuts the edge on those bets to 1.35%.

Bet (European wheel) Numbers covered Payout Chance of winning
Straight up 1 35:1 2.70%
Split 2 17:1 5.41%
Street 3 11:1 8.11%
Corner 4 8:1 10.81%
Six line 6 5:1 16.22%
Dozen / column 12 2:1 32.43%
Red/black, odd/even, 1–18/19–36 18 1:1 48.65%

Sic Bo, Dragon Tiger and poker

Sic Bo is a bet on three dice; Big or Small has a house edge of 2.78%. Dragon Tiger deals one card each to Dragon and Tiger and the higher card wins; with half the stake lost on a tie, the edge is about 3.73%. Casino Hold’em and Caribbean Stud put you against the dealer rather than other players.

Basic strategy for live tables

No strategy turns the house edge in your favour, but the right decisions keep it as low as possible and make your budget last longer.

Blackjack basic strategy (cheat sheet)

For multi-deck blackjack where the dealer stands on soft 17 and doubling after a split is allowed (check the “i” rules button at your table: some blackjack variants differ). Find your hand on the left and the dealer’s up-card across the top.

Your hand Dealer 2 Dealer 3 Dealer 4–6 Dealer 7–9 Dealer 10 Dealer A
8 or less Hit Hit Hit Hit Hit Hit
9 Hit Double Double Hit Hit Hit
10 Double Double Double Double Hit Hit
11 Double Double Double Double Double Hit
12 Hit Hit Stand Hit Hit Hit
13–16 Stand Stand Stand Hit Hit Hit
17+ Stand Stand Stand Stand Stand Stand
Soft 13–16 (A,2–A,5) Hit Hit Double* Hit Hit Hit
Soft 17 (A,6) Hit Double Double Hit Hit Hit
Soft 18 (A,7) Stand Double Double Stand vs 7–8, hit vs 9 Hit Hit
Soft 19+ (A,8–A,9) Stand Stand Stand Stand Stand Stand

*Soft 13–16 against 4–6: double A,4 and A,5 against 4, 5 and 6, and A,2 and A,3 only against 5 and 6; otherwise hit. Pairs: always split aces and 8s, never split 10s or 5s; split 2s, 3s and 7s against 2–7, 6s against 2–6, 4s against 5–6, and 9s against 2–6 and 8–9.

Baccarat: bet the Banker, skip the Tie

The Banker bet has the lowest house edge in baccarat (1.06%) even after the commission. The Tie looks tempting at 8:1, but its 14.36% edge is more than ten times higher. Scoreboards (“roads”) on screen show past results but do not predict the next hand: each hand is independent. In 70 hands there is about a 41% chance of seeing six or more Banker wins in a row at least once, so streaks are normal.

Roulette: choose the wheel, not a system

Every bet on a European wheel has the same 2.70% edge, so the most useful decision is the wheel itself: French with La Partage beats European, which beats American. Betting systems such as the Martingale (doubling after each loss) do not change the edge; they just risk a big loss when you hit the table limit or the end of your budget.

What an hour at the live table costs on average

Expected loss = house edge × total stakes. Assuming $10 a hand and typical live speeds, the average cost of an hour varies more than three-fold by game:

Game House edge Rounds per hour (assumed) Average cost per hour at $10/hand
Blackjack (basic strategy) 0.57% 60 $3.42
Baccarat (Banker) 1.06% 60 $6.36
European roulette 2.70% 40 $10.80
Crazy Time (96.08% RTP bet) 3.92% 30 $11.76

Averages only: a real hour can go well above or below these figures, but the longer you play, the closer results get to the average.

Live casino bonuses: what counts towards wagering

Most welcome bonuses can be played on live tables, but they count at only 10–20% towards wagering. We checked the terms of each group on October 3, 2026:

Casino (terms) Baccarat / blackjack Roulette Game shows
Vera&John, InterCasino, Yuugado, Casino Secret, Mystino 10% 15% 15%
CasiTabi, Casino.me 10% 10% 10%
Bitcasino 10% 10% 20%
Slots, for comparison 100% — —

What 10% means in practice

Say you need to wager $2,000 to clear a bonus. On slots (100%) that is $2,000 of bets. On live baccarat at 10%, it is $20,000 of bets. At Bitcasino, a 1,500 USDT first-deposit bonus at 30x needs 45,000 USDT of slot play, or 450,000 USDT if you only play live casino. If you mainly play live, playing without a deposit bonus is often the better choice.

Maximum bet while a bonus is active

Bonus terms also cap your stake. Vera&John allows up to $25 per bet on table games and live casino with bonus money (terms of October 2, 2026); Casino Secret limits game shows such as Crazy Time to $6.25; Bitcasino caps every bonus bet at 4 USDT. Going over can void the bonus and its winnings.

Cashback and rakeback suit live players best

Rewards without wagering work much better with live games. Casino Secret’s CASINOSECRET CLUB tables carry a cashback label, Mystino pays cashback every Saturday, Stake and Bitcasino pay rakeback, and Bons adds 10% (20% on Fridays) to crypto deposits.

No-deposit offers through our links

No-deposit bonuses are usually for slots, but they are a free way to open an account and see the live lobby: Vera&John and InterCasino give 50 free spins, Casino Secret $15, Yuugado ¥1,500 + a ¥1,500 free bet and Mystino ¥2,000. All terms are in our no deposit bonus guide.

Yen or dollar account?

Live tables usually show limits in dollars or euros and convert from your account currency. Yuugado and Mystino run in yen, Vera&John and InterCasino let you choose yen or dollars, and CasiTabi and Casino.me use dollars. With a yen account you never think about the exchange rate during a session.

Crypto for fast withdrawals

Crypto is the quickest way to cash out a live win: Bitcasino approves withdrawals in about two minutes on average and Vera&John charges no fees on crypto. Coins, networks and minimums are compared in our crypto casinos guide.

Verify your account early

Every licensed casino asks for ID (KYC) before or at the first withdrawal; Vera&John says it usually takes hours and up to 72 hours. Send your documents before a big live session so a win is not held up.

Live casino on mobile

Play in your phone’s browser

Every casino in this guide streams live tables in a mobile browser with no download. InterCasino’s live lobby switches to a vertical list on phones, so tables are easy to pick with one thumb.

Apps

Vera&John offers an app download link on its site (October 4, 2026). The tables are the same in the app and in the browser, so use whichever feels smoother.

Data use and video quality

Live video uses much more data than slots. Use Wi-Fi where you can, or lower the video quality in the table settings (the gear icon) if the stream stutters — a frozen stream near the end of a betting timer is the most common reason for a missed bet.

How to start playing live casino in Japan

Step 1: Open an account

Pick a casino from our ranking and click “Sign up”. CasiTabi’s form starts with just an e-mail address and a password; Vera&John and Yuugado add the no-deposit offer automatically when you register through our link.

Step 2: Deposit

Live casino has almost no free demo, so you need real money. Choose a payment method from the table above; crypto and e-wallets are the fastest.

Step 3: Choose a table

In the live lobby, filter by game and look at the bet range. Start with a low-minimum baccarat or roulette table, or go straight to a Japanese table if you prefer a Japanese-speaking dealer.

Step 4: Check the rules, then bet within the timer

Open the “i” (info) button to see the paytable and rules, choose a chip, place it on the betting area before the timer reaches zero (“No more bets”), and use Repeat or Double to replay your last bet. Results and payouts are settled automatically.

Licences, fairness and problems at the table

A safe live casino has two layers of licensing: the casino’s own licence (shown at the bottom of its site) and the studio’s licences (Evolution, Pragmatic Play). Here is what the live lobbies showed:

Casino Operator Licence (as shown on the site)

Is live casino rigged?

Tables are run by independent studios that stream the same game to many casinos at once, so a single casino cannot change the result of one player’s hand. Cards and wheels are read by cameras and scanners, and testing labs set standards for them: GLI publishes GLI-29 for card shufflers and dealer shoes, and eCOGRA tests live dealer games (both checked October 4, 2026).

Why a live bet can be rejected

Casino Secret’s help centre lists five reasons a live bet is not accepted: the betting time ran out, your balance was too low at the moment of processing, a connection delay, a stake outside the table’s minimum or maximum, or a game excluded while a bonus is active (checked October 3, 2026).

Reason the bet was rejected What to do
Betting time ended Bet while the timer still has a few seconds left
Balance too low at processing Check your balance against your total stake
Connection delay Switch to Wi-Fi or lower the video quality
Outside the table limits Check the minimum and maximum on the table
Game excluded while a bonus is active Check the eligible games in the bonus terms

If you get disconnected mid-round

According to the same help centre, the round either finishes in the background and is settled automatically, or resumes when you reopen the game. Check your transaction history, and if something looks wrong, contact support with the table name, the time, your stake and the round ID from the game history.

How we picked these live casinos

We only list casinos that accept players from Japan today, and we only write what we could see ourselves. For this guide we opened each live lobby from a Japanese IP address between October 3 and 5, 2026, counted CasiTabi’s tables one by one, read each casino’s bonus terms for live contribution and maximum bets, and checked operator and licence details on the sites and on the regulator’s register. We scored each casino on:

  • Japanese tables — Japanese-hosted Evolution tables and Japanese categories in the lobby
  • Stakes — how low and how high the table limits go, and whether the lobby shows them
  • Providers and variety — Evolution, Pragmatic Play Live and others; game shows; own branded tables
  • Bonus fit — live contribution, max bet rules and wagering-free cashback or rakeback
  • Payments — yen accounts, crypto and withdrawal speed
  • Licence — operator and licence shown on the site and its status on the register

Our general method is described on our editorial policy page (in Japanese), and the overall ranking of online casinos for Japan is on our English home page.

Live casinos and the law in Japan

Japanese law has no licensing system for online casinos; the sites Japanese players use are licensed abroad (Curaçao, Anjouan, Malta and others). How the law applies depends on where you are — check the rules of your country of residence before you play, and play within the laws where you live. Our guide Is online gambling legal in Japan? explains the Penal Code, the 2025 amendment and how to check a licence.

Live casino Japan: frequently asked questions

Q. What is the best live casino in Japan?

A. For most players, Vera&John: it has Japanese Speed Baccarat, its own Vera&John Live Roulette, a yen account and the biggest offer through our link. CasiTabi has the deepest lobby (628 tables with bet ranges) and Bons has the most Japanese Evolution tables.

Q. Are there live dealers who speak Japanese?

A. Yes. Evolution runs Japanese Speed Baccarat, Japanese Roulette and Japanese Speed Blackjack with Japanese-speaking dealers. We found them at Vera&John, CasiTabi, Bons, Queen Casino, Bitcasino and Casino.me, and Mystino has a “Japanese dealer” category (October 3–5, 2026).

Q. What is Japanese Speed Baccarat?

A. An Evolution baccarat table hosted in Japanese with a faster deal. The rules are standard punto banco: bet on Banker, Player or Tie. In CasiTabi’s lobby the range was $1–$10,000 (table A) and $1–$25,000 (tables B–E).

Q. How much do I need to play live casino?

A. It depends on the table. In CasiTabi’s lobby 94 tables started at $0.10 or less and 327 at $1 or less; Mega Ball started at $0.01 and Japanese Roulette at $0.50. Blackjack is pricier, with a median minimum of $25.

Q. Which live casino game has the best odds?

A. Blackjack with basic strategy (house edge about 0.57%), then the Banker bet in baccarat (1.06%). Game shows like Crazy Time have higher edges (3.92–5.59%).

Q. Can I use a bonus on live casino?

A. Usually yes, but live games count only 10–15% towards wagering at most casinos (20% for game shows at Bitcasino), and there is a maximum bet, such as $25 at Vera&John. Cashback and rakeback are often better value for live players.

Q. Can I play live casino for free?

A. Almost never: live tables have no demo mode. Practise the rules on RNG table games, then start at a low-minimum live table. No-deposit offers such as Mystino’s ¥2,000 let you open an account without paying first.

Q. Can I play live casino on my phone?

A. Yes, in the mobile browser of every casino in this guide, and Vera&John also has an app. Live video uses a lot of data, so Wi-Fi is recommended.

Q. Is live casino rigged?

A. The tables are run by licensed studios such as Evolution, which stream the same game to many casinos and are licensed in Malta, the UK and elsewhere. You can watch the cards being dealt or the ball landing, and testing labs such as GLI and eCOGRA publish standards for live games.

Q. Which providers offer live casino in Japan?

A. Evolution (including Ezugi), Pragmatic Play Live, Playtech, SA Gaming, Winfinity and Microgaming. Evolution supplies almost all Japanese-hosted tables.

Q. Can I pay in yen at live casinos?

A. Yes. Yuugado and Mystino use yen accounts, and Vera&John and InterCasino let you choose yen or dollars. Live tables may still show limits in dollars and convert automatically.

Q. Why was my live bet rejected?

A. According to Casino Secret’s help centre, the usual reasons are: the timer ran out, low balance at processing, a connection delay, a stake outside the table limits, or a game excluded while a bonus is active.
